Date: Fri, 7 Feb 1997 08:58:58 -0600 (CST) From: Greg Roggeman To: WIFC Subject: Attn: Jeff Murray Hey Jeff, What's the deal? Had too much fun last night to finish what you started? You said to just keep listening and you'd get back to the "If people only knew I..." game even if it was 3am. I said I'm here until 5. Remember that? My patience, while seemingly boundless at times, has most certainly reached it's limits in this case. You said "Just keep listening," which I did ... until 5:15am when I finally called Cale to see if I could walk home without the possibility of missing my cue, only to confirm my hunch that you were long gone. This, in light of the fact that I completed my work at 3:30am and stayed only to avoid missing the intimation that I was to call you until then is just inexcusable. I don't play every game that you have on your show but when I do, I play to win. Although I realize that you had a little party going on -- and that's all well and good, have fun -- don't forget that you are there for a reason. A game with no end and no winner is no fun. I was having a lot of fun with that game last night and I would not have minded the suspense of waiting all night if that is what it took. But to glue myself to the radio all night just so that you could forget all about the contest that I rightly deserved to win is quite irritating to say the very least. I've enjoyed listening to you these past few months since you started at WIFC even though I resented at first that Bruce Kelly was removed from that time-slot. I'd forgotten how I felt then, but now it's all coming back to me. I do *not* like to be left hanging! Tonight, I will be listening. If I am not recompensed -- and I mean more than just the tickets to see Howie now -- it will be the last night that I listen to WIFC. That is not a threat, or even a promise. It is simply a fact. Thanks for blowing me off. I hope that you got laid last night, at least that would be understandable. Greg Roggeman roggeman@pcpros.net www.pcpros.net/~roggeman
